2026 The year Barratt Boards went to market

So 2026 started off pretty rocky for the future of Barratt Boards. I was in and out of hospital being investigated for symptoms that came up out of the blue. Months rolled on where I couldn't get myself back into the business because I really needed to rest, recover and build back my strength. My online presents suffered and I couldn't keep up with the social media side of what owning your own business requires in this day in age required. So we pivoted, we booked up markets and already had established set up with a bricks and mortar shop down in st Ives. The lovely people down at Tide & Flame have a select range of our boards available to purchase in person. We booked up to our local monthly Market on a regular basis with Cornwall shop small. The market is based in Newquay's town centre and the place is alway buzzing with people and things to do. Market days are busy long days but the conversation plus the wonderful feedback we always receive always has me wanting to book on to more dates. Needless to say if your down here in Cornwall and want to meet the person behind the business I will be at The Wadebridge Christmas market at the Royal Cornwall show ground on 12- 13th of December and I'm hoping to get booked in for another local Newquay market before the end of the year.
